Sean Qin

Sean Qin holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He began his career at McKinsey & Company’s New York headquarters before transitioning into private equity at Grove Street, where he gained extensive experience in investment strategy and business growth.

After returning to China, Sean took on a leadership role at Tencent’s Gaopeng.com, overseeing operations in Jiangsu, Anhui, and Yunnan. Recognizing a gap in the market and driven by a passion for innovation, he founded Mini Koala, a pioneering self storage company designed to meet the evolving needs of modern consumers. Through Mini Koala, Sean is reshaping the self storage landscape in China, combining convenience, technology, and customer-centric solutions to redefine the industry.
