Michael Dogger

Michael has been in the Self Storage industry for more than 12 years. With a background in Electrical Engineering, Finance and Telecommunications, Michael has brought varied experience to innovate the Self Storage Industry. He wrote “RapidStor” – the world’s first online integrated move in procedure for storers that uses SiteLink’s API, used by leading Self Storage companies and pioneered the first mobile app for both Self Storage Access Control and Account Management.
Michael is the CEO of SiteLink International and R6 Digital, Australasia's leading Self Storage Digital Agency.
Stephen Hughes
Chief Marketing Officer at R6 Digital
Stephen has over 15 years of experience in marketing spanning both traditional and digital channels, having worked with some of Australia’s most recognisable brands including News Corp and Budget Direct.
Stephen’s particular area of deep expertise lays in data driven marketing and leveraging data in the digital world to drive performance and engagement with customers.
He has been with R6 Digital for over a year and this has given him the opportunity to bring his mature marketing skillset to the self storage industry to further assist the R6 team in driving amazing results for our client.

About the speaker:
Patrick Eng
Executive Consultant, Connect Communication
Patrick is a veteran consultant in the communications training field. He provides counsel and advice for businesses wishing to improve not only business communication but also how they relate to a cross-section of customers, stakeholders, staff, and investors. Especially keen to coach individuals to help them navigate their own unique challenges, whether it’s learning how to handle the media, negotiations, presentations, or leading teams.
Background and Coaching Experience
Born and educated in Canada, he moved to London to work in financial services recruitment.
After a few years in London Patrick relocated to Shanghai, China to lead a U.S. search firm’s China business. He recruited management staff and teams for the banking, legal, manufacturing and chemical industries until transferring to the company’s Hong Kong office.
He worked in brand and marketing communications agencies before joining the Connect team in 2013. His focus is on training and coaching presentation and persuasion skills to support each of his clients’ growth and performance.

Christel Land

Christel has over 13 years’ experience in the self-storage industry, both as an operator and as a supplier. She has specific experience in marketing strategy, IT and management. She is the author of ‘The Cutting Edge of Self-Storage’ book series, with the first release in 2019 of ‘Sales & Service’. She is also a regular trainer and speaker for the European self-storage associations. She usually speaks on topics relating to sales, marketing, leadership and business growth. She does this drawing on her extensive professional and educational background in the growth of small and medium sized businesses.
