Having started my association with Self Storage in the late 80`s as a Development/Construction Manager with Ezi Stor which then became known as Kennards Self Storage I have gone on to design, deliver and manage close to $1bill worth of Self Storage projects.

In 1994, I started my own construction company, Total Construction Pty Ltd. We soon became the construction company of choice for Kennards Self Storage and as Kennards grew, so did our business, into a national brand. Sam Kennard and I worked closely in strategically selecting sites, preparing feasibilities and innovative designs.

As our companies grew Total also expanded into a national business that also became delivery partner for other great companies like Storage King, Abacus, National Storage, USSFM (Jonathon Perrins) and many smaller independents.

In over 35 years of my building experience, the self-storage industry has prospered in the face of much disruption and change and as an builder, Total will continue to be versatile, adaptive, and live our core purpose of making a positive difference to people’s lives through excellence in construction.
