John Tan

John has over a decade of experience advising on a wide range of real estate matters, including corporate real estate, real estate financing and private client real estate transactions.

In recent years, John has represented some of the leading self storage players in Singapore and has advised on some of the largest self storage acquisition, divestment and debt financing transactions in Singapore.

John and his team have also advised self storage operators on corporate commercial, compliance, and day-to-day operational matters.

John has been an active member of the Self Storage Association Asia (“SSAA”) since its inception and has contributed and assisted the SSAA with their legal needs, including the drafting of SSAA’s standard documents, speaking at SSAA events, moderating SSAA panel discussions and contributing legal and regulatory know-how to members of the SSAA.
