Bharad is a regional strategic management leader with over 29 years of experience in
various building asset classes in Asia ranging from mixed development, retail, lodging,
commercial, self-storage to residential. Bharad with his constant positive attitude has
consistently built a winning mindset team and delivered a strong track record in leading the
business growth and effective business operation in various markets within Asia. In the
course of recent 17 extensive career in the real estate investment world, Bharad has been
involved in various investment deals, strategy planning, M & A transactions, business
development, business operation, fund management, portfolio management, exit strategies
and project management.
Bharad founded Fiscal Beat Private Limited to offer management consultancy and strategic
advisory services for real estate and construction companies. In the last job, Bharad was
working as CEO, Southeast Asia for StorHub self-storage where he is spearheading the
growth in South East Asian countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and
Philippines.
Before that, over 9 years of experience at CapitaLand, Bharad was recognized for his real
estate domain expertise as a business leader from the inception to exit, riding on multiple
stakeholder’s trust to building a robust business growth strategy in South Asia. Bharad
capabilities in the integration, alignment of cross functional inputs, hardworking and
proactive problem-solving techniques have been critical in resolving various complicated
and business operational issues.
Prior to CapitaLand, Bharad was Vice President for Surbana Corporation. He was the
architect to put a strategy and used his vast business professional network for growing
consultancy and property development business in Asia. In his earlier career, Bharad worked
as Senior Contracts Manager in Housing & Development Board in-charge of contracts
management of public sector projects.
As an active conference speaker at various real estate conferences, Bharad shares his
experience and skills to inspire future leaders.
Bharad earned his Master of Science (Project Management) from National University of
Singapore, Post graduate Diploma from The College of Estate Management, UK, Bachelor of
Civil Engineering from Bangalore University. As a certified member in Quantity Surveying
with the Royal Institution of Surveyors UK, Bharad is well regarded in the region.
