Having transitioned from the shopping centre industry to the storage industry in 2000, it was not by design that twenty years later Jason Keane would still be involved in the same sector, however as the industry grew the opportunities followed and Jason has always had an eye for opportunity.

Since 2000 Jason has performed several functions which has him strategically placed in the self-storage industry. Past roles have included senior operations manager of a major storage brand in Australia and the United Kingdom & a general manager of a boutique nine-store portfolio in Melbourne.

In 2013 the purchase of Sentinel Australasia provided Jason with a path from the operator of self-storage to the supplier to the industry in all areas of storage access control and general security having secured the southern hemisphere distribution rights of Sentinel Systems & PTI. More recently Jason created a joint venture with Storco and KAS and has secured the worldwide distribution rights of the automated storage door system being marketed as Global Entry.

As the industry in Australasia grows Storage Security Group is set to mirror this growth. All three entities operate independently of each other which allows for competition in a true market economy.

Jason is considered to be a self-storage operations expert having stayed in tune with storage operations and is called upon often to provide operations advice to industry valuers to add commentary and offer advice.
