Far from being born in the self storage industry, Luigi La Tona drew wisdom from his previous life and work experiences to become Chief Executive Officer, Singapore of StorHub, Singapore’s largest and longest standing self storage company.

Luigi’s start in the self storage industry was as the founding Executive Director of the Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA) in 2014, growing it to a globally recognized regional industry body. Previously, Luigi managed one of the largest business communities in Hong Kong with The Canadian Chamber of Commerce, worked closely with the real estate community at CBRE, and engaged regional organizations for CSR and intellectual property purposes while at Time Warner.

An Executive MBA graduate from the National University of Singapore and an International Relations undergrad from the University of British Columbia in Canada, he was previously a volunteer firefighter, scuba diving instructor, has backpacked by a shoestring through diverse nooks and crannies around the world, and is now married with two beautiful, curious daughters.
