Jes Johansen

Jes Johansen is the founder and CEO of Storefriendly Mgmt. He introduced Storefriendly to the Singapore market in 2011 and in just three years grew the business to 12 branches. The business was sold in 2015 following a successful buyout of franchised partners. Two years later Jes and his partners retook control of the Storefriendly brand, which was relaunched with new private equity partners in 2019. A strategy of industry leading technological solutions along with and unique property development solutions has spearheaded the establishment of a regional enbloc portfolio.

Before Storefriendly, Jes headed up Steel Storage Asia and oversaw the introduction and early establishment of the self-storage industry in key Asian markets. Along his partner Kevin Chan, Jes is a founding members of the Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA).
