Sam Kennard

Sam Kennard is Chief Executive Officer of Kennards Self Storage; a private family owned business.

Sam joined the Company in 1991. He was appointed to lead the family business in 1994. Since then, Kennards Self Storage has grown from 14 storage centres to over 105 centres today. The company now has over 720,000 square metres of rentable space available, over 62,000 customers and over 340 employees with its activities spanning Australia and New

Zealand.

The Company currently has 10 new storage centres in the development pipeline. Sam has a Bachelor of Business (Land Economics) and has extensive experience in management, leadership, marketing, culture and property development, specialising in self storage and mixed-use development.

He is on the Board of the Self Storage Association of Australasia, The Centre for Independent Studies and the Wenona School Foundation.
