Aric Austin

Aric Austin is the founder and CEO of MyStorage, Ho Chi Minh City's first tech-enabled self-storage company. A serial entrepreneur with two prior exits - to Yahoo and Glam Media - he relocated to Vietnam in 2018 with a conviction that the country's growth trajectory and openness to innovation made it one of Southeast Asia's most compelling markets for new business models.

MyStorage launched with both traditional self-storage and valet storage and continues to expand its network of facilities across Ho Chi Minh City - serving local and expatriate customers throughout the metro area.

Born in Spain to American parents and raised in Munich, Germany, Aric is at home in international business environments. He holds an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management and began his career at MTV Europe in London, followed by several years in online media in the USA, before returning to Germany to found his next ventures. He has been based in Vietnam for eight years.
