Ihao Tei

Ihao Tei, Head of Investments for the Japan Group at StorHub, is a seasoned finance and investment professional with extensive experience in the self-storage industry. As a key leader at StorHub Japan, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s investment strategy in Japan, driving investments, and managing portfolio growth.

Prior to joining StorHub, Ihao was part of the real estate fund management team at Asset Management One, where he provided gatekeeping services for multiple Japanese institutional investors, overseeing real estate fund investments across the US, Europe, and the APAC region. During his tenure at Heitman, he played a major role in self-storage investments, leading joint venture formations with partners in Australia and Japan.

Ihao holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington. Fluent in English, Japanese, and Putonghua (Mandarin Chinese), he brings a global perspective to the self-storage sector.
