Minoru Nishizawa is the Director and Managing Executive Officer of Arealink Co., Ltd., operator of “Hello Storage”, Japan’s largest self storage brand.
Since joining Arealink in 2001, he has played a pivotal role in the company’s rapid expansion and operational growth. Over the years, he has held several senior leadership positions, including Head of the Storage Department and General Manager of the Storage Division. Under his leadership, Hello Storage has grown to more than 2,500 locations and over 120,000 units across Japan.
In addition to overseeing storage operations, he currently leads the company’s Human Resources and Customer Contact divisions, focusing on organisational development, customer experience, and long-term operational excellence.
With more than two decades of experience in management, marketing, and real estate development, he is deeply involved in shaping the future of Japan’s self storage industry. His expertise spans digital transformation (DX), real estate utilisation strategies, operational scaling, and organisational leadership.
